We are a small family owned business. All of Maple Leaf Acres’ employees are family and family friends. We are a family who likes to keep busy and take pride in everything we do. In our spare time we like to be outdoors enjoying family time on our small farmstead.
Growing garlic began as a hobby. Our family loves garlic; we use it in almost everything we cook! We wanted to try something new… so why not farm garlic? After a lot of research about growing garlic in the Midwest, we decided to give it a shot! We have learned more about garlic than we ever thought possible. So we hope you love our garlic as much as we do!
At Maple Leaf Acres our goal and mission is to provide our customers with only the best quality products. We promise to provide products grown using all organic practices, without the use of chemicals, keeping our customers health in mind
Why “Maple Leaf”
Maple Leaf Acres is located in Stockton Illinois, Jo Daviess County USA. Our small farm lies at the foot of the, now extinct, Chicago Great Western railroad bed. The rail road was dubbed the "Maple Leaf route" for its map which outlined a maple leaf, stemming from Chicago to Minneapolis, Omaha and Kansas City. After its abandonment in 1972 the rail bed became home to wild seeded growth. And yep, you guessed it, lots of Maple trees.
